Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this paper is to evaluate education achievement, dental care awareness, education satisfaction of dental assistant system in Mongolia.
Methods: KOICA and Dankook University organized dental assistant program from January 2013 to December 2014 to 25
students. Students had 6 month of theory and practice training and 6 month of field training. After training, student took dental assistant test and achieved private certification.
Results: The education achievement and dental care awareness were improved. Education satisfaction pointed 4.27. Also,
student understood necessity of proper toothbrush and regular dental check up after the training.
Conclusion: To improve training performance, various programs which can be fit to Mongolia dental environment should be developed.
